Relating to Christianity and Science in the 21st Century ”

The Mary McQueen Room - 9:45 a.m.
Join Dr. Bremer’s class and examine the work of prominent Christian authors, including Dr. John Polkinghorne author of Quarks, Chaos and Christianity, as they address the relationship of Christianity and Science. We will look briefly at the history of the rise of modern science and examine the conflict between church and science. We will look at the counter-intuitive world of 20th century physics. You do not have to be a physicist or a geneticist to understand this class! We will attempt to bring heart and mind together with the goal of living Christian lives with the full wealth of conviction that understanding brings.

Getting to know God's absolute truth through the study of the Bible, one book and chapter at a time. All are welcome and wanted.

“New/Prospective Member Class”

This one-session class, held the first Sunday of each month, uses a variety of materials designed to introduce the history, teaching, and organizations of the Presbyterian Church to new or prospective members.

Middle School Sunday School Class

This class is specifically for YOU! Learn how to be a Christian in the "Middle School World." Let's realize how we can maintain an attitude of love, patience, self-control, and obedience in an often discouraging environment by learning to live God's plan.

High School Sunday School Class

Led by Jason Wright
Downstairs Youth Office - 9:45 a.m.

This class is a more mature look at the principles GOd reveals in his word. We will make connections between these principles and our own daily lives. THe class includes video, study, and discussion time.
