Estate Planning Seminars

The Finance and Stewardship Committees are excited to provide our congregation with information on how to best manage your estate and how the church can be a part of this.
Davis Puryear, attorney with Hutchens Law Firm, with a specialty in Wills and Estate Planning, will help you plan for the future and make your wishes a reality.
Olanda Carr, Ministry Relations Officer from the Presbyterian Foundation, will show you how to include the church in your plans.
Mary Holmes, President and CEO of Cumberland Community Foundation, will share information on setting up a trust fund or endowment for the benefit of the church.

Here are some items for VBS that you may already have at home or they can be purchased new.

We are starting to make decorations now and appreciate your help!

  • Brown Packing Paper - pieces or rolls (the stuff from your amazon boxes)
  • Foam Craft Sheets - any size, but larger is better (green, brown, white)
  • Foam Insulation Boards/Large Foam Sheets - whole or partial
  • Paint (new or opened) - house, acrylic, spray (greens, browns, blues, bright colors)
  • Cardstock - white, green, bright colors
  • Tissue Paper - brown/tan
  • White Foam Poster Boards
  • Large Appliance or TV Boxes - flattened is fine
  • 2x4s - if you have any extras laying around
  • Wire Hangers
  • Painter’s Tape - blue and green
  • White Twin Bed Sheet
  • Flat Bed Sheets - blues, tans, browns, greens, whites
  • Duct Tape - green, black, brown
